Bi-directional HDMI 2.1 Switch

The WRIARICH OZQ8AB3 is a bi-directional HDMI 2.1 switch that handles two ports. It connects two source devices to one display or routes a single source between two screens. The unit supports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz for gaming consoles, PCs and media players. It requires no external power supply or driver installation.

Passive Operation and Cable Limits

The switch draws power from the connected HDMI devices so it runs silently with no fan or heat concerns. Maximum reliable cable lengths are 1.5 metres for 8K signals, 3 metres for 4K and 8 metres for 1080p. Keeping cables within these distances maintains signal integrity for high refresh rates. No external power adapter is needed for normal use.

Remote Control and USB-C Power Cable

A handheld remote lets users toggle inputs from across the room without pressing the button on the unit. The package includes a USB type C cable that can provide supplementary power if a source device cannot supply enough current. HDMI cables are not included and must be purchased separately.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the WRIARICH OZQ8AB3 so it switches two sources to one display, and which step do people miss?

Plug each source into the two HDMI inputs, connect the single HDMI output to your display, attach the supplied USB-C power cable, then use the remote or front button to select the active input. The step most often missed is powering the unit via the USB-C cable; without it the switch will not change ports.

What maintenance or replacement will the WRIARICH OZQ8AB3 need over time?

No scheduled maintenance is required. The only items that may need replacement are the HDMI cables if they degrade or exceed the 1.5 metre limit for 8K@60Hz, and the USB-C power cable if it becomes damaged.

What limit appears first during a long gaming session at 8K@60Hz on the WRIARICH OZQ8AB3?

The cable-length limit appears first: 8K@60Hz is only guaranteed up to 1.5 metres per cable run, so signal integrity will degrade before any thermal or bandwidth ceiling is reached.
