Bi-directional HDMI 2.1 switch

This WRIARICH OZQ8AB3 routes video between two HDMI sources and one display, or one source across two displays. It handles 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz, and 1080p at 240 Hz with VRR and Dynamic HDR. A button on the unit or the supplied remote changes the active path instantly. No software or external power adapter is required for basic operation.

Who this suits

Gamers and home-cinema users who need to swap a console and a PC on a single high-refresh monitor will benefit. It also fits setups that toggle one player between a living-room TV and a bedroom screen. Buyers who must show two sources simultaneously, or who need more than two ports, should look at a matrix switcher or a capture card instead.

Deciding specification

The single figure that decides fit is the maximum cable length at your target resolution: 1.5 metres for 8K, 3 metres for 4K, and 8 metres for 1080p. Runs longer than those limits will lose signal integrity, so measure your cable runs before ordering.
