What it does and who uses it

The WRIARICH OZU8 is a USB multimedia controller knob that adjusts system volume with a rotary encoder and a single press-to-mute button. It works on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS without installing drivers, making it suited for streamers, office workers and anyone who wants tactile audio control.

Behaviour during long sessions

The aluminium body dissipates heat from the internal electronics so the knob stays cool during extended streaming or gaming periods. Plug-and-play operation means the device remains responsive after hours of continuous use without needing a software restart or re-pairing.

Build and daily connectivity

A solid aluminium alloy chassis weighs 0.25 kg and measures 5.4 by 3.5 by 2.1 inches, giving it enough mass to stay put on a desk. The package includes a USB-to-USB-C cable for modern ports, and the single-cable connection keeps the workspace tidy.

Questions about this item

Does the aluminium knob get warm or make any noise when it runs all day?

The controller is a passive USB device with no fan or active electronics, so it produces no audible noise and does not generate noticeable heat during continuous use.

What must my computer already have for the OZU8 to work?

An available USB-A port and a supported operating system such as Windows 7, 8, 10, XP, Mac, Vista, Android or iOS are required; no additional driver installation is needed.

Will the knob control volume on my older speakers that only have a 3.5 mm jack?

The OZU8 adjusts the system volume on the host device, so any audio output — including analogue speakers plugged into the computer's headphone socket — will respond to the knob.
