What this converter does

This WRIARICH adapter turns composite RCA video and stereo audio into an HDMI signal. It lets you connect legacy devices such as a PS3, DVD player, VCR or older game console to a modern television or monitor that only has HDMI inputs.

Power and signal quality

The unit draws power from an included USB cable connected to any 5 V source. Inside, a 10-bit sampler running at up to 162 MSPS handles the analog-to-digital conversion with black-level expansion, colour-transition improvement and dynamic-range expansion for a cleaner 1080p 60 Hz or 720p 60 Hz picture.

Build integration

Plug the three RCA plugs into your source device, connect the USB power lead, then run a standard HDMI cable to the display. No drivers are required and the converter auto-detects PAL, NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N formats. Note that it is not compatible with Super Nintendo or Apple devices.
