USB 3.0 capture for streaming and recording

The WRIARICH YCY-2353 is a USB 3.0 video capture card that accepts a single HDMI input and delivers up to 300 to 350 MB per second throughput. It targets streamers, educators and conference users who need a compact way to bring HDMI sources into OBS or similar software on Windows, MacOS, Linux or Android without external power.

HDMI loop-through and UVC support

The card provides an HDMI output that mirrors the incoming signal to a monitor, TV or projector while simultaneously sending video to the host over USB. It complies with UVC and UAC standards, so it works with standard capture applications without proprietary drivers, and it records 48 KHz PCM audio alongside video in formats such as MP4, MOV, MKV and TS.

1080p60 capture with 4K30 passthrough

The device captures at 1080p 60 Hz while accepting HDMI input resolutions up to 4K at 30 Hz, plus 1080i and 720p at 50 or 60 Hz. It draws 2.5 W or less from the USB port, so it runs on laptop power alone. It does not capture 4K at 60 Hz, nor does it support multi-channel input or hardware encoding offload.

Questions about this item

Will the HDMI pass-through port wear out from daily plugging and unplugging?

The card has one HDMI input and one HDMI output rated for standard insertion cycles; no user-serviceable parts are inside, so the port itself is the only component that could eventually need replacement.

What throughput ceiling appears first when capturing 1080p 60 Hz for hours?

The USB 3.0 link is specified at 300 to 350 MB/s, which is the first hard limit reached during sustained high-bitrate recording.

How warm does the aluminium case get and does the LED indicator add heat during all-day streams?

Power draw is 2.5 W or less with no external supply needed, so the enclosure stays only slightly above ambient and the LED contributes negligible extra heat.
