48-Core LC-OS1 Rack Enclosure

The WUQ 24 Duplex enclosure provides 48 LC-UPC ports in a 19-inch rack-mountable metal chassis. It arrives fully populated with two splice trays, a 48-strand 1-metre singlemode pigtail spool, and a loaded LGX patch panel. The kit conforms to YD/T926I, ISO/IEC 11801, and TIA/EIA-568-B standards for structured cabling.

Data Centre and Telecom Installers

This enclosure suits engineers terminating singlemode fibre in data centres, LAN, WAN, CATV, or telecom racks where 48 cores fit the current patching plan. Buyers needing higher port counts, multimode connectivity, or pre-terminated trunk cables instead of pigtails should evaluate alternative configurations.

48 Singlemode LC-UPC Ports

The decisive specification is the 48-core LC-OS1 singlemode interface with factory-terminated 9/125 µm pigtails. It determines whether the enclosure matches the fibre type, connector polish, and strand count required by the link design.

Questions about this item

How many fibre strands can the 19-inch rack enclosure terminate in total?

The unit provides 24 duplex LC ports, giving 48 single-mode fibre terminations across two loaded LGX splice trays with 1-metre pigtails included.

What thermal or acoustic load does the passive enclosure add to a fully populated rack?

As a metal cabinet with no fans or power supply, it contributes zero active heat and no audible noise; only the fibres and patch cords inside generate negligible passive warmth.

Which patch-cord polish and fibre type must already be on hand to connect directly to the loaded panel?

The panel ships with LC-UPC connectors on 9/125 µm OS1 single-mode fibre, so matching UPC-polished single-mode patch cords are required for immediate use.
