Right-angle USB-C adapter for tight spaces

The XAOSUN 90° USB-C to USB-C adapter redirects cables in cramped ports on laptops, tablets, phones and handheld consoles. Its aluminium shell resists wear and dissipates heat while adding minimal bulk. The two-piece pack suits users who keep one adapter at a desk and another in a travel bag.

Check port orientation and protocol needs

Verify that your device’s USB-C port faces a direction where a right-angle turn clears the obstruction rather than creating a new one. Confirm the host and peripheral support USB4 or Thunderbolt 3 or 4 to reach the adapter’s 40 Gbps ceiling; older USB 3.2, 3.1 or 2.0 devices will fall back to their native speeds. Ensure any charger and cable are rated for the wattage you intend to draw.

Aluminium housing and 240 W rating change thermal

The metal enclosure reduces connector temperature during sustained high-power sessions, letting the adapter maintain 240 W delivery without throttling. Backward compatibility with 180 W, 140 W, 100 W and 60 W profiles means one adapter covers current and legacy chargers. The 40 Gbps pathway also carries 8K video signals to compatible docks and displays.

Questions about this item

Does the 2-pack include anything besides the two 90° adapters?

The package contains only the two right-angle USB-C adapters; no cables, docks or power supplies are included.

When should I pick the 240W 40Gbps version instead of a lower-rated adapter?

Choose this model when you need the full 240W charging ceiling or 40Gbps throughput for 8K video and fast SSD transfers; it will still negotiate down to 180W, 140W, 100W or 60W for lesser devices.

What does the 40Gbps rating actually deliver when I plug it into my Steam Deck or MacBook?

It enables USB4-speed data up to 40Gbps and 8K video output, while remaining backward compatible with Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.2, USB 3.1 and USB 2.0 hosts.
