Genuine Xerox solid-ink sticks for ColorQube 8570

This four-pack of black solid-ink sticks is made for Xerox ColorQube 8570 and 8580 series printers. Each stick yields approximately 8600 pages, giving offices a high-volume supply for everyday document printing. The genuine formulation is designed to work with the printer's solid-ink system without modification.

Solid-ink thermal behaviour in daily printing

Solid ink melts inside the print head and solidifies on the page, so there is no liquid carrier to evaporate and no separate fuser roller to heat. In normal use the printer maintains a steady melt temperature, producing consistent output with minimal warm-up delay between jobs. Power draw follows the printer's standard cycle rather than spiking for each page.

Replaces individual sticks or third-party refills

The pack replaces buying single sticks or non-genuine refills that can vary in melt point or pigment load. The jump is worth it when print volume is high enough to consume four sticks before the printer's maintenance interval, or when colour consistency across large batches matters. It is not suited for printers outside the ColorQube 8570 or 8580 families.

Questions about this item

How do I install the solid ink sticks in my ColorQube 8570 without jamming the loader?

Open the front ink door, align each black stick with the black keyed slot, and slide it straight in until it clicks; forcing a stick upside-down or into the wrong colour slot is the step that causes feed jams.

What replacement will the printer need after I use the four black sticks rated at 8600 pages each?

When the control panel reports the black ink empty, order another 108R00930 four-stick pack; the maintenance kit and waste tray are separate items not included with these sticks.

At what page count does the printer typically signal low black ink during a long print run?

The printer estimates remaining pages from the 8600-page yield per stick, so the low-ink warning usually appears a few hundred pages before the stick is fully consumed.
