Color laser multifunction for busy offices

The Xerox VersaLink combines print, copy, scan and fax in one device rated at 36 pages per minute for both colour and monochrome output. Standard paper capacity is 700 sheets, expandable to 1,250 sheets, and the printer handles media from 3.00 by 5.00 inches up to 8.50 by 14.00 inches. It connects via Gigabit Ethernet, USB and Wi-Fi, making it suitable for workgroups that need flexible network placement.

Sustained workload capacity

A maximum monthly duty cycle of 80,000 pages shows the engine is built for continuous high-volume printing rather than occasional bursts. The 1.05 GHz processor and 2 GB of memory keep large print jobs moving through the queue without stalling. Duplex printing is standard, reducing paper consumption during long runs. Operating noise reaches 52.3 dB(A) while printing and drops to 28.7 dB(A) in standby.

Interface and power limits

The printer supports PDF, XPS, TIFF, HP-GL, PCL 6 and Adobe PostScript 3 natively, so most business applications can send jobs without extra drivers. Power draw peaks at 750 watts during printing, falls to 82 watts in standby and 4 watts or less in sleep mode, all on a 100 to 240 VAC supply. Compatibility covers Windows 7 through 10, Server 2000 through 2012 and macOS 10.9 and higher. Environments needing higher monthly volumes or wider format media would need a different device.
