What this cartridge fits

The Xerox 006R05053 is a genuine magenta ink cartridge built for the C240, C245, C255, C300, C303 and C305 printers. It suits offices or home users who own one of those models and need a direct replacement.

Page yield decides fit

The cartridge is rated for approximately 1,200 pages under the return programme. That single figure tells you whether the supply matches your typical monthly volume before you order.

Install and common issues

Installation follows the standard front-access slot on the listed printers; the cartridge clicks into place without tools. The most frequent problem is forgetting to remove the protective seal, which blocks ink flow and triggers a low-ink warning.

Questions about this item

How many pages will the 1,200-page yield actually deliver in my C305?

The 1,200-page figure is based on standard ISO coverage; heavy graphics or dense text will reduce the count while light documents may exceed it.

Does the return-program cartridge lock out refills or third-party ink in the C240?

The cartridge is a genuine Xerox return-program unit; the printer will accept it normally, but refill or third-party compatibility depends on the printer firmware.

Will this single magenta cartridge fit the C255 without extra hardware?

Yes, the cartridge is designed for direct installation in the C240, C245, C255, C300, C303 and C305 printers.
