Converts a standard USB-A port into USB-C for charging and data at up to 480 Mbps, supplied as a four-pack
This pack contains four adapters that convert a standard USB-A port into a USB-C female socket. They let owners of older computers, chargers or power banks connect USB-C cables, flash drives or hubs for charging and data transfer.
Each adapter transfers data at up to 480 Mbps using the USB 2.0 protocol and supplies up to 3 A for charging. Video output is not supported, nor are USB 3.0 or 3.1 speeds, so high-bandwidth peripherals will not reach their full potential.
The adapters do not work with MagSafe wireless chargers and cannot carry a video signal. Buyers who need display output or MagSafe compatibility should look for a different converter.

This item is sold as a four-pack, giving you one adapter for each USB-A port you want to convert.
It is the maximum data rate the adapter can handle, so file transfers and syncs run at USB 2.0 speed.
It works on the USB 2.0 interface, capping data at 480 Mbps and preventing USB 3.0 or 3.1 speeds.
