Compact clip-on soundbar for desktop monitors

The XKX XKX115A is a 2.0 stereo speaker that clamps to the top, side or bottom of a monitor, freeing desk space while delivering 10 watts of total power from dual ultra-magnetic drivers and dual passive radiators. It draws power and audio from a single USB-A connection and includes a USB-C adapter for newer laptops and tablets. Touch controls on the front handle mute and volume adjustment.

USB-A audio with USB-C adapter included

The speaker requires a standard USB-A port for both power and signal; the supplied adapter extends compatibility to USB-C only devices such as recent MacBooks, iPads and Android phones. It is not compatible with monitors, TVs or projectors that lack a USB audio output. An up-to-date sound-card driver and a functioning USB port are prerequisites for correct playback.

Clamp mount saves desk area, needs monitor clearance

The lightweight 0.27 kg bar measures 1.65 by 9.17 by 2.83 inches and attaches via a patented clamp that also allows stable desktop placement. Buyers who need a separate subwoofer, wireless streaming or a headphone jack will not find those features here. The adaptive-channel-switching sensor automatically corrects left-right orientation whether the unit is mounted high or low.
