Compact USB soundbar for desktop setups

The XKX XKX125B is a 15.0-inch stereo soundbar that draws power and audio from a single USB connection. It suits laptop users, remote workers and light-gaming sessions where desk space is tight and a separate power brick is unwanted. Buyers who need room-filling volume or discrete surround channels should look elsewhere.

Passive cooling with no fan noise

The unit runs on 5 volts and 10 watts total, so it adds negligible heat to a workstation and produces zero mechanical noise. A rotary encoder knob synchronises with the host system volume for precise, tactile adjustments without software latency. There is no active cooling to fail or whine over time.

Plug-and-play across USB-A and USB-C

A native USB-C plug is supplemented by an included USB-A adapter, letting the bar work with modern Macs, Windows PCs, Chromebooks, tablets and Linux machines without driver installs. The 5.0-foot cable reaches rear ports on most monitors or docks, and the 2.51-by-2.88-inch footprint tucks under a centred display. No external power supply or audio jack is required.

Questions about this item

How do I install the XKX XKX125B soundbar and what step do people often miss?

Connect the USB cable to your device and, if needed, use the included USB-C adapter; the step users often miss is setting the soundbar as the default audio output in system settings.

What maintenance or replacement will the XKX XKX125B need later?

No user-serviceable parts are inside; keep the USB connector and 5.0 ft cable free of dust and avoid bending the cable sharply to prevent connection issues over time.

What limit appears first on the XKX XKX125B during sustained loud playback?

The 10 W total power rating and 5 V USB supply cap the maximum output, so extended high-volume use will hit that power ceiling before thermal limits become a concern.
