Commercial Restroom Hand Dryer

The Xlerator XL-W-H-110-120V automatic hand dryer delivers an eight-second dry time for high-traffic commercial washrooms. Its zinc diecast cover with epoxy enamel finish withstands heavy daily use. The unit operates on 110 to 120V AC power and includes a HEPA filter as standard. Surface mounting suits retrofit and new-build installations alike.

Installation Notes

Surface mounting requires a suitable wall structure and a 110 to 120V AC supply; the included tamper-proof wrench secures the cover against vandalism. Wiring must meet local code for the stated voltage range. The integral nozzle and fixed heat settings of high, medium and low simplify commissioning. No separate filter housing is needed because the HEPA filter ships pre-installed.

Sustained Operation

Sound output stays between 65 and 75 dBA during continuous cycles. Airflow remains constant at 19,000 lfm across the three heat settings. The dryer is rated for 68 to 77 and carries UL, EPD, HPD, Green Product and GSA certifications for extended service. Automatic activation prevents unnecessary run time when traffic fluctuates.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the dryer is running at the 8-second dry time after installation?

Time a hand-dry cycle with a stopwatch; a result near eight seconds and an airflow reading around 19,000 lfm show the unit is performing to spec.

What ships with the dryer and what must I source separately?

The box contains the dryer with its integral nozzle, a tamper-proof wrench for mounting, and a HEPA filter already installed; no extra parts are required for basic operation.

Should I choose the high, medium or low heat setting for my facility?

High heat gives the fastest dry, medium balances speed and energy use, and low heat runs quietest at the lower end of the 65-to-75 dBA range.
