Rugged Wireless VoIP Handset

The Yealink AX86R is a cordless IP phone built for demanding environments. It meets IP67 dust and water resistance and survives drops up to 1.8 metres. The handset includes a 2.4 inch colour TFT screen with 240 by 320 resolution, keypad backlight and vibration alert.

Suited For And Not Suited For

This unit suits mobile workers in warehouses, factories or healthcare who need a single rugged handset with four SIP accounts and Bluetooth 5.0 headset support. It does not suit buyers who need a desk phone with multiple line keys, Power over Ethernet or a base station for several handsets.

Deciding Specification

The IP67 rating with 1.8 metre drop protection is the specification that determines whether this handset fits the environment. Without it the device cannot guarantee operation after water exposure or repeated falls on hard floors.
