Microsoft Teams IP Phone

The Yealink MP52 E2 Teams is a corded VoIP handset built for Microsoft Teams environments. It runs Android 13.0 and presents the Teams app on a 2.4 inch non-touch colour screen with 320 x 240 resolution. The device targets offices that need a dedicated Teams endpoint without a touchscreen.

Dual Gigabit Ethernet with PoE

Two RJ-45 ports provide a dual-port Gigabit Ethernet switch for daisy-chaining a PC. Power over Ethernet follows IEEE 802.3af class 3, drawing 2.3 to 6.0 watts, while the optional power supply draws 1.5 to 4.5 watts. The phone operates from -10 to 50 degrees Celsius and 10 to 95 percent humidity.

Wall-mountable with USB and RJ9 ports

A bundled stand and wall-mount option simplify desk or wall placement. One USB Type-A port accepts USB headsets or flash drives, while two RJ9 ports connect the corded handset and a wired headset. A security lock slot and AES-encrypted configuration files support physical and data security.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the Teams edition or a generic SIP version?

The MP52 E2 TEAMS ships with a Microsoft Teams-tailored app and is optimised for Teams deployment; a generic SIP model would not include that integration.

What does the 2.4 inch 320 x 240 non-touch screen mean for daily use?

The colour backlit display shows call details, presence status and menus clearly, but all navigation relies on physical keys rather than touch input.

How do the dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and PoE class 3 limit real-world connectivity?

The two RJ-45 ports provide a 1 Gbps uplink and a PC pass-through, while IEEE 802.3af class 3 PoE caps power draw at 6.0 W, so no external adapter is needed.
