Angled 6-pin to triple Molex cable powers legacy drives and fans from Corsair Type 4 SFX PSUs
This angled adapter connects a single 6-pin modular port on compatible Corsair SF450, SF600 and SF700 units to three Molex 4-pin peripherals. It targets builders who need legacy power for fans, optical drives or older accessories in compact systems. The cable is new and built specifically for the listed Type 3 and Type 4 power supplies.
UL1007 18AWG tinned copper conductors resist heat and ageing while staying flexible for tight routing. The angled 6-pin male connector eases insertion in cramped SFX cavities and the 50 cm lead with two 15 cm branches reaches multiple devices without strain. Two unused pins on the 6-pin side are normal and not a defect.
The assembly upgrades setups that lack enough Molex headers or rely on bulky splitters, consolidating three connections into one modular port. The jump is worth it when a Corsair Type 3 or Type 4 PSU is already installed and additional Molex devices must be powered cleanly. It does not suit Type 1, Type 2 or non-Corsair units.

The 6-pin male end plugs only into Corsair Type 3 and Type 4 modular PSUs such as the SF450, SF600 and SF700; it is not compatible with Type 1 or Type 2 units or other brands.
Each of the three Molex 4-pin female connectors sits on a 15 cm tail after the first 50 cm run, so allow roughly 20 cm from the PSU port to the first device and 6 cm between devices.
The two missing pins are deliberate blanks in the Corsair Type 4 pinout; insert the 6-pin male connector with the keyed notch aligned to the PSU socket — forcing it the other way will not seat correctly.
