40x50ft Heavy-Duty Poly Tarp Kit

The Yescom 07PTRSET001-4050BBC supplies a 40 by 50 foot silver and black polyethylene tarp rated at 10mil thickness. It is built for users who need a large, waterproof cover that resists UV exposure and tearing across seasonal weather.

Replacing Lightweight Covers That Degrade Fast

This tarp upgrades from thin sheeting that cracks in sun or leaks at seams. The jump is worth it when you need a cover rated for at least three years of outdoor use with double-sided lamination and reinforced corners that stop water ingress.

Simple Tie-Down With Included Ball Bungees

Twenty-five black ball bungees attach to aluminum grommets spaced at one-metre intervals along every edge. The rubber cords and plastic balls resist fraying, but the tarp weighs 68.92lbs so two people make positioning safer and faster.

Questions about this item

What spacing do the aluminum grommets on the 40x50ft tarp use?

The grommets are placed at 3 1/4 ft (1m) intervals around the perimeter for secure tie-down points.

How do you attach the 25 ball bungees to the tarp without damaging the grommets?

Loop each rubber cord through a grommet and hook the plastic ball over the cord; do not force the ball through the metal eyelet.

When should the 10mil PE tarp be replaced after outdoor exposure?

The manufacturer rates it for at least 3 years of anti-aging performance under normal sun and rain conditions.
