8 ft canopy pole with three D-rings

This eight-foot steel pole supports up to three shade sails, canopies, tents or tarps simultaneously using the D-ring clamp at the top. It is built for homeowners and venue operators who need a permanent anchor point for open-air shade structures. The two-section design includes a connector, cap, clamp and base for a complete setup.

Concrete or cement mounting only

The pole must be screwed into concrete or cement ground; the supplier states it is not recommended for lawn installation unless a concrete footing is poured first. This restriction defines the practical limit of where the pole can be used and how securely it will hold under load.

58 kg/N pull-force rating

The 1/8-inch thick powder-coated steel tube is rated to withstand up to 58 kg/N of pulling force, which is the single figure that determines whether the pole can handle the tension from your specific shade sails in strong breeze or heavy rain.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 8 ft pole or add the 2 ft extension poles?

The 8 ft pole is 96 inches tall and includes two sections, a connector, cap, D-ring clamp and base. Two 2 ft extension poles (model YES0282) can be added if you need extra height.

What does the 58 kg/N pulling force rating mean for my shade sail?

The powder-coated 1/8-inch steel pole is rated to resist up to 58 kg/N of pulling force, so it can hold up to three sails or tarps in strong breezes and heavy rain when mounted on concrete.

How does the D-ring clamp interface work with my existing shade sails?

The top clamp has three D-rings, letting you attach up to three shade sails, canopies, tents or tarps simultaneously without extra hardware.
