177" 16:9 DIY Projection Screen Material

This 177-inch diagonal matte white fabric provides a 153 15/16 by 86 5/8 inch viewing area with a 160-degree wide angle. The PVC-coated textile diffuses light uniformly while the black backing prevents light penetration. It is sold by the each for front projection setups.

Suits DIY builders needing custom sizes.

The one-piece material can be cut to fit any frame, making it ideal for custom home theatre, office, or education projects. Its rollable design allows easy storage and portability for events like parties or weddings. Buyers who need a ready-to-mount screen with a fixed frame included should look at a different product type.

177-inch diagonal 16:9 aspect ratio

The single specification that decides fit is the 177-inch diagonal measurement in a 16:9 format, yielding a 154 by 86 inch nominal size. Verify that your projector throw distance and room dimensions match this viewing area before purchasing. The matte white surface and black back are standard for front projection but confirm gain requirements separately.

Questions about this item

Will the 160-degree viewing angle stay consistent if I pair this 177-inch matte white fabric with an older low-lumen projector?

The matte white surface diffuses projected light uniformly across the 160-degree viewing angle, so older projectors still produce even brightness from centre to edge.

How can I verify the 153 15/16 by 86 5/8-inch viewing area is square and flat after I mount the material on my existing frame?

Measure the diagonal to confirm 177 inches, then check that opposite sides match 153 15/16 and 86 5/8 inches; the rollable PVC-coated textile should lie flat once tensioned.

Does the box include mounting hardware or a frame for the 177-inch screen, or must I supply those separately?

The package contains only the rollable matte white projection fabric; you must provide your own frame, tensioning system and any mounting hardware.
