Two-PC HDMI KVM Switch

This KVM switch lets two computers share one HDMI monitor, keyboard and mouse. It is aimed at users who need to operate a pair of PCs from a single desk setup without unplugging cables. The all-metal housing shields the internal circuit from external interference. The unit ships without the external button controller.

Shared Peripherals and 4K Output

The switch routes two HDMI video sources and USB connections to one display and one input set. Adaptive EDID and HDCP handling keep the video signal stable when switching. Maximum supported output is 4K at 30 Hz, so high-resolution content remains sharp. Users can toggle between systems using the button on the device.

Plug-and-Play Installation

No drivers or software are required; the switch works immediately after connecting cables and power. Switching is done via the front-panel button since the external controller is not included. Buyers who need remote switching or automatic port selection should note that only manual button control is available.

Questions about this item

Will the HDMI ports or USB connectors need periodic replacement with daily switching?

The all-metal shell protects the internal circuit and reduces external signal interference, so the HDMI and USB ports are built for repeated daily switching without a stated replacement interval.

What resolution limit appears first when the switch runs continuously at 4K?

The unit supports 4K×2K at 30 Hz, so the 30 Hz refresh ceiling is the first limit you hit under sustained 4K use.

Does the metal housing get hot or add fan noise during all-day operation?

The all-metal housing acts as a passive heatsink with no fan, so the switch runs silently and stays cool during continuous operation.
