240 W replacement for Dell desktops

This 240 W power supply replaces the H240ES-02 and L240ES-00 units used in Dell Inspiron 3668, Vostro 3668, Vostro 3669 and OptiPlex 3050, 5050 and 7050 MT chassis. It is intended for owners of those specific models who need a direct swap for a failed or ageing unit. The part matches the J61WF and DK87P Dell part numbers listed for these systems. Builders working on other platforms or requiring higher output should look elsewhere.

Straightforward swap with correct cabling

Installation follows the standard MT layout: remove the side panel, unplug the existing cables, unscrew the old unit and fit the new one using the same mounting points. The connector set matches the factory harness for the listed models, so no adapters are required. The most common issue is ordering this unit for a small-form-factor or micro-tower variant that uses a different physical size and pin-out; verify the chassis type before purchase.
