240W PSU for OptiPlex SFF Systems

This 240 watt power supply replaces the L240AS-00, H240AS-00 and AC240AS-00 units in OptiPlex 390, 790, 990, 3010, 7010 and 9010 small form factor desktops. It delivers the rated output required by those specific chassis. The unit is new and matches the original form factor.

Limited to 240W in proprietary SFF chassis

The 240 watt rating restricts the system to low-power processors and graphics cards that fit the small form factor power budget. Builders needing higher wattage for discrete GPUs or additional drives cannot use this supply. The proprietary connector layout prevents installation in standard ATX cases.

Questions about this item

Which part number matches my OptiPlex SFF — L240AS-00, H240AS-00 or AC240AS-00?

All three part numbers refer to the same 240W unit; any of them will fit the OptiPlex 390, 790, 990, 3010, 7010 and 9010 small-form-factor chassis.

Will the 240W rating handle a mid-range graphics card in my 7010 SFF?

The 240W output is the factory specification for these OptiPlex SFF models; it supports the original CPU and integrated graphics, but adding a discrete GPU may exceed the available power budget.
