  • 290 W output powers OptiPlex Mini Tower builds
  • Compatible with OptiPlex 3020, 7020, 9020 and T1700
  • Replaces Dell part numbers KPRG9, N0KPM and RVTHD
  • New unit ready for immediate installation

Direct replacement for OptiPlex mini towers

This 290W power supply is built as a direct replacement for Dell OptiPlex 3020, 7020, 9020 and T1700 Mini Tower systems. It matches the original KPRG9, N0KPM and RVTHD part numbers so the unit fits the proprietary mounting points and connector layout without modification. Office IT teams and home users restoring these desktops can swap the unit in minutes.

Upgrade from a failed or noisy OEM unit

The supply replaces an original unit that has failed, developed coil whine or can no longer hold stable voltage under load. The jump is worth it when the desktop must stay in service for legacy applications, specialised peripherals or compliance images that prevent a full platform refresh. It is not for builds needing higher wattage for discrete graphics cards or for chassis that require standard ATX dimensions.

Questions about this item

Will the 290W unit fit my OptiPlex 7020 Mini Tower chassis?

This 290W supply is built for the OptiPlex 3020, 7020, 9020 and T1700 Mini Tower form factor, so it matches the mounting points and depth of those cases.

Which power cables must be connected during installation?

Seat the main 24-pin ATX connector and the 4-pin CPU power lead firmly; the most common mistake is leaving the CPU power plug loose, which prevents the system from posting.
