Three-port HDMI KVM switch

This KVM switch routes video and audio from three HDMI sources to a single display. It is intended for users who need to share one monitor or TV between devices such as a console, a media player and a set-top box. The unit operates without an external power adapter when the connected sources provide enough power through their HDMI outputs.

Key-press switching and passive power

A front-panel button selects the active input, while the switch draws operating power from the connected devices via the HDMI cables. This removes the need for a separate mains adapter and reduces cable clutter on the desk. HDCP pass-through ensures protected content plays correctly on the output display.

4K at 30 Hz with 36-bit colour

The switch supports resolutions up to 4K at 30 frames per second and 36-bit Deep Color. It handles a maximum TMDS throughput of 8.91 Gbps and passes both uncompressed LPCM and compressed formats such as Dolby Digital and DTS. Buyers who need 4K at 60 Hz or higher refresh rates should look for a different switch.

Questions about this item

Will I need to replace the HDMI cables if I upgrade to a 4K 60 Hz display?

The switch supports 4K at 30 Hz with 36‑bit Deep Color and 8.91 Gbps TMDS throughput, so 4K 60 Hz would exceed its bandwidth limit.

What is the first limit I will hit when running three sources all day?

The 8.91 Gbps TMDS ceiling caps total video throughput, so sustained 4K 30 Hz from multiple sources will hit that bandwidth ceiling first.

How much heat or noise does the unit produce during continuous operation?

It has no fan and no external power adapter, drawing parasitic power from the HDMI sources, so it runs silently with negligible heat.
