3x3 Video Wall Controller

The YINGHUA 3x3 video wall controller accepts one HDMI or DVI source and splits it across nine HDMI outputs for multi-screen installations. It is designed for digital signage, control rooms and presentation spaces that need a single large image spread over multiple displays.

Input and cable requirements

The unit supports HDMI 1.4 with HDCP 1.4 and handles input resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 24 or 30 Hz and 1920x1080 at up to 60 Hz. All nine outputs deliver 1920x1080 at 60 Hz, so source content must match these timings. Use fully wired, shielded HDMI cables with all 19 pins connected to avoid sync problems.

Thermals noise and power

The controller ships with a DC 12 V 2 A power adapter and has no internal fan, so it runs silently in normal operation. Power draw stays within the supplied adapter rating, and the metal chassis passively dissipates heat during continuous use. RS232 and infrared remote control allow configuration without physical access to the unit.

Questions about this item

Does the box include everything needed to run a 3×3 wall, or must I buy the nine HDMI cables separately?

The package contains the controller, a DC 12 V 2 A power adapter, a remote control (battery not supplied) and a user manual; the nine HDMI cables to connect the displays are not included.

The title lists several splicing modes — 3×3, 2×3, 2×4 and 4×2 — so which one should I select for nine screens?

Choose the 3×3 mode; it splits the single HDMI or DVI input into nine 1080p 60 Hz outputs, matching the nine-display layout.

The headline says 4K, yet the note states 1080p 60 Hz out — what resolution will I actually see on each monitor?

Each of the nine HDMI outputs delivers 1920×1080 at 60 Hz; the 4K 30 Hz capability applies only to the input signal.
