Eight-input HDMI multiviewer

The YINGHUA 4K HDMI 8x1 Multi-viewer accepts eight HDMI sources and routes them to a single display. It supports simultaneous screen segmentation and seamless switching between full-screen views. The unit is aimed at installers and operators who need to monitor multiple 1080p cameras or PCs on one 4K screen in control rooms, meeting halls or streaming setups.

Front-panel buttons and IR remote

Physical buttons on the chassis let you cycle layouts or pick a single input instantly. The included infrared remote duplicates those functions so the operator can change views from across the room. Both control methods toggle between quad, picture-in-picture and full-screen modes without interrupting the output signal.

Desktop installation with 12 V DC power

The metal enclosure measures 252 mm by 105 mm by 25 mm and weighs about 792 g, so it sits on a shelf or rack tray without brackets. A 12 V 1 A adapter is supplied; the only common issue is forgetting to seat all eight HDMI cables firmly before powering on, which can leave one quadrant blank until the cable is reseated.

Questions about this item

Will the internal fan or power supply need replacement after extended use?

The unit ships with an external DC12V/1A power adapter; no internal fan is mentioned, so the adapter is the only part likely to require replacement.

At what resolution does the 30 Hz output ceiling become the bottleneck during all-day operation?

The HDMI output reaches 3840x2160@30Hz; sustained 4K multi-view at that refresh rate is the first hard limit you will hit.

How warm does the 792 g chassis get and what is the power draw when running 24/7?

It draws 12 W from the DC12V/1A adapter; with no fan specified the metal enclosure passively dissipates the heat.
