4K HDMI Extender over Cat5E/6

This KVM switch extends 4K HDMI signals up to 100 metres using a single Cat5E or Cat6 cable. It is built for users who need to operate a PC, laptop or HDTV from a remote location without running long HDMI leads. The integrated EDID function helps maintain stable video handshake between source and display.

Distance and cable limits

The extender reaches its 100 metre maximum only with solid-core Cat5E or Cat6 cable; stranded patch cords or longer runs will degrade the 4K signal. It does not support fibre, HDBaseT chaining or wireless transmission, so installations needing greater reach or multiple hops require a different solution.
