4K HDMI extender over Cat6

The YINGHUA set extends an HDMI signal up to 100 metres over a single T-568B Cat6 cable. It is built for users who need to locate a PC, console or media player far from the display without running long HDMI leads. The kit includes a transmitter, a receiver and two power adapters for a complete point-to-point link.

Sustained 4K transmission stability

Video travels as uncompressed data over the Ethernet cable, so image quality does not degrade after the first few metres. The link maintains a steady 4K picture for the full rated distance without the drop-outs that can appear on long passive HDMI runs. No compression artefacts are introduced during extended viewing sessions.

Low heat and silent operation

Both units are passively cooled and draw power only from the supplied adapters, so they add no fan noise to the room. Power consumption stays minimal during continuous use, and the compact cases remain only warm to the touch. The simple two-box design keeps cabling tidy at both ends.

Questions about this item

Does the 4K 100M extender need active cooling or make audible noise when running continuously?

The transmitter and receiver units are passively cooled with no fans, so they run silently.

What cabling and power items must I already have to use the HDMI-to-RJ45 transmitter and receiver?

You need T-568B wired CAT6 cable for the 100 m link and a mains socket for each of the two included power adapters.

Will the extender pass 4K video from an older PS4 or PC through the CAT5e cable I already installed?

Yes, the extender supports 4K over CAT5e up to 60 m and over CAT6 up to 100 m, so existing CAT5e runs work at the shorter distance.
