Extends 4K HDMI and USB to 120 m

This YINGHUA KVM extender sends 4K HDMI video, audio and USB keyboard and mouse signals over a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable up to 120 metres. It replaces fixed-length HDMI leads with standard Ethernet cable that is easier to route and terminate on site. The set includes transmitter and receiver units plus an EU power plug.

Suits installers needing long runs without custom

Buyers who want to extend signals beyond 120 metres or who require fibre-based transmission for greater distance should look at alternative solutions. The extender does not support HDMI cables longer than the specified CAT5e/6 link and cannot be cascaded for extra reach.

Maximum reach is 120 metres over CAT5e/6

The 120-metre limit over standard Ethernet cable is the single specification that determines whether this extender fits the installation. If the required path exceeds that distance, this unit will not meet the need.

Questions about this item

How do I install the YINGHUA 4K HDMI KVM Extender and what step is commonly missed?

Connect the transmitter to the source and the receiver to the display using a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable up to 120 m, then link USB keyboard and mouse to the receiver; the step often missed is using a solid-core patch cable rather than a stranded one for the full 120 m run.

What maintenance or replacement will the YINGHUA 4K HDMI KVM Extender need later?

The unit has no user-serviceable parts; if the CAT5e/6 cable is damaged, replace it with an equivalent solid-core cable, and keep the power adapters free of dust to avoid overheating.

What limit appears first when the YINGHUA 4K HDMI KVM Extender runs continuously at 4K?

The 120 m transmission distance over CAT5e/6 is the hard limit; signal integrity degrades beyond that length, so the extender cannot sustain 4K video past the specified maximum cable run.
