Five-input HDMI switch

The YINGHUA 5-port HDMI switch routes five source devices to a single display, handling 4K30Hz video and 7.1-channel audio. It suits home-theatre owners, streamers or office users who need to toggle between consoles, PCs and media players without swapping cables. No external power supply is required, so the unit draws minimal power from the connected sources.

4K30Hz bandwidth limit

The switch tops out at 250 MHz clock bandwidth and 2.5 Gbps per channel, delivering 2160p at 30 Hz and full 1080p at higher refresh rates. Supported timings include 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080p and 4K30Hz, with 8, 10, 12 and 16-bit deep-colour pass-through and HDCP repeater function. Buyers who need 4K60Hz or higher refresh rates should look elsewhere.

Button and IR control

Front-panel buttons and the supplied IR remote let users change inputs from the sofa or desk without reaching behind equipment. The metal chassis shields signals and dissipates heat passively, fitting into AV racks or desktop setups where space and noise are concerns. It frees up display ports by consolidating five HDMI sources into one cable run.

Questions about this item

What does 4K30Hz mean for the picture on my 4K monitor?

4K30Hz means the switch passes a 2160p signal at up to 30 frames per second, so a 4K display shows full 2160p resolution with motion limited to 30 fps.

Which HDMI standard does the switch use and what bandwidth does that allow?

The switch complies with HDMI 1.4a and provides a 250 MHz clock with 2.5 Gbps per channel, giving 7.5 Gbps total bandwidth.

Does the unit need external power or special mounting to fit in my setup?

No external power supply is required and the iron shell is designed for desktop placement, so it sits on a shelf or desk without brackets.
