60M HDMI Extender over Cat5e/6

This HDMI extender transmits 1080p video up to 60 metres using a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. It replaces a long HDMI run between a PC, laptop or media player and a TV or monitor. The kit includes transmitter and receiver units with a UK-plug power supply. It suits installers and home users who need reliable long-distance HDMI distribution.

Sustained signal integrity

The extender maintains 6.75 Gbps bandwidth with no signal loss across the full 60 metre link. It supports 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576p, 576i, 480p and 480i at 24, 50 and 60 fps continuously. HDCP 1.2 compliance ensures protected content plays without interruption. Uncompressed LPCM 7.1, DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD audio pass through transparently.

Thermals noise and power

Each unit draws a maximum of 400 mA from the included 5 V 1 A adapter, which accepts 100–240 V AC at 50 or 60 Hz. Operating temperature ranges from –15 °C to +70 °C with 5–90 % relative humidity non-condensing. The compact metal housings dissipate heat passively, so the system runs silently in normal use.

Questions about this item

Does the YINGHUA 60M HDMI extender generate much heat or noise when running continuously?

The unit draws a maximum working current of 400mA from a DC5V/1A power adapter, so power draw is low and it runs silently without fans.

What cables and power sources must I already have to use this extender?

You need a CAT5 or CAT6 network cable up to 50 metres between transmitter and receiver, plus HDMI cables up to 10 metres AWG26 at each end, and a UK mains socket for the supplied 100-240V AC adapter.

Will this extender work with my older 720p or 1080i displays and sources?

Yes, it supports input and output resolutions including 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576p, 576i, 480p and 480i at 24, 50 or 60 fps.
