A bi-directional converter that accepts S/PDIF audio via optical or coaxial input and simultaneously outputs to both optical and coaxial ports
The YINGHUA bi-directional converter accepts S/PDIF audio through either a Toslink optical or coaxial cable and outputs the signal simultaneously on both ports. A side-mounted switch selects which input is active. The unit is powered via the included USB cable, while a mains adapter is not included. Built-in amplification also allows it to function as a signal repeater for longer cable runs.
This device suits anyone connecting a Blu-ray player, satellite receiver, games console or PC to an amplifier, soundbar or active speakers that offer only one digital input type. It is not intended for buyers who need to switch between multiple sources automatically, convert analogue signals, decode multi-channel formats such as Dolby Digital or DTS, or pass HDMI audio or video.
The defining specification is that the converter sends the chosen input to both its optical and coaxial outputs at the same time. This lets you feed two digital devices — for example a soundbar and a separate recorder — from a single source without additional splitters or manual cable swaps.

Yes, the converter accepts a coaxial S/PDIF input and simultaneously outputs the signal through both its coaxial and Toslink ports, so your older player can connect to modern optical speakers or amplifiers.
Absolutely. Select the optical input via the side switch; the converter will output the identical signal to both its optical and coaxial ports, feeding your legacy coaxial amplifier while also driving an optical device.
Connect the included USB power cable to any 5 V USB port; the converter’s built-in amplification chip will then repeat the signal to both output ports, and you should hear audio from the connected speakers or amplifier.
