4K 60 Hz HDMI 2.0 Extender

This HDMI 2.0 extender transmits 4K 60 Hz signals up to 60 metres over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. It also carries 4K 30 Hz and 1080p sources to 120 metres. The unit suits installers and AV professionals who need long-distance HDMI distribution without costly fibre.

Plug-and-play with cascade option

Installation is straightforward: connect transmitter and receiver with one Ethernet cable, then link source and display. The transmitter includes an HDMI loop-out for local monitoring. Cascade mode allows multiple receivers, but each added hop must stay within the 60-metre 4K 60 Hz limit.

HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compliance

The extender supports HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2, with backward compatibility to earlier HDMI and HDCP versions. This specification determines whether protected 4K 60 Hz content will pass; sources or displays limited to HDMI 1.4 or HDCP 1.x will fall back to 4K 30 Hz or 1080p.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the extender is passing a 4K 60Hz HDR signal correctly after connecting the Cat6 cable?

Check the display for a stable 4K 60Hz image with HDR active and verify the source device reports HDCP 2.2 handshake success.

What comes in the box and which cables must I purchase separately?

The package includes the transmitter and receiver units; you must supply your own Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable and HDMI cables for source and display connections.

Should I choose the 60-metre 4K 60Hz mode or the 120-metre 1080p mode for my installation?

Use the 60-metre reach for 4K 60Hz HDR content; switch to the 120-metre reach only when the source is limited to 1080p or 4K 30Hz.
