YINGHUA 6x2 HDMI 2.0 Matrix Switch

This YINGHUA matrix routes six HDMI sources to two independent displays at 4K 60 Hz. It suits operators who need to share multiple computers or media players across a pair of monitors without re-cabling. The integrated 3.5 mm audio output provides a separate path for sound extraction. A UK mains plug is included for immediate power.

Practical limits of HDMI 2.0

The HDMI 2.0 interface caps video at 4K 60 Hz with standard colour depth, so higher refresh rates or deeper colour formats are not supported. Switching between sources introduces a brief re-sync period on each display. Audio is limited to the formats carried over the HDMI stream and the stereo 3.5 mm jack. The six-input, two-output topology fixes the maximum device count.

Questions about this item

Should I pick a 6-in-2-out matrix or a simpler switch for my six sources and two displays?

The 6x2 matrix lets you route any of the six inputs to either or both of the two outputs independently, so each screen can show a different source at the same time.

What does the HDMI 2.0 rating mean when I connect my 4K monitors and laptops?

HDMI 2.0 supports 4K resolution at 60 Hz, so both connected displays can run at their native 4K 60 Hz refresh rate without chroma subsampling.
