HDMI KVM Extender over Cat5e/6

This HDMI KVM extender transmits 4K video at 30 Hz and USB signals for mouse, keyboard or touch-screen control up to 120 metres over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. It is intended for installers and operators who need to place a PC, DVR or media player far from the display in classrooms, conference rooms, retail signage or security desks.

Distance and resolution limits

The extender reaches 120 metres at 4K 30 Hz; longer runs or higher refresh rates are not supported. Cat5e/6 cabling replaces fixed-length HDMI leads, allowing field termination and easier routing through conduit or trunking where bulky HDMI connectors would not fit.

Build and connectivity

Transmitter and receiver units each carry an HDMI port and USB-A connectors for HID devices, powered by the included US-plug adapters. The compact metal enclosures are designed for desktop or surface mounting, and the use of standard RJ45 patch cables simplifies replacement and future re-cabling without specialised tools.
