HDMI to AV RCA Converter Scaler

This converter scaler accepts a single HDMI input at 1080P 60Hz and provides simultaneous HDMI pass-through plus composite RCA video with stereo audio. It downscales the digital signal to standard-definition CVBS formats at 480i or 576i in both PAL and NTSC. The aluminium alloy enclosure measures 115x100x25mm and weighs 360g, powered by an included DC5V 1A EU plug supply.

Suits owners of legacy displays needing HDMI sources

Retro gamers, VHS archivists or installers connecting modern consoles, set-top boxes or cameras to older CRT or early LCD televisions will find the hardware conversion plug-and-play. Users requiring upscaling to high-definition resolutions, multi-input switching or HDCP-managed content paths should look elsewhere as this unit only downscales and passes through a single source.

Fits between source and legacy display

Place the converter inline between an HDMI source such as a PS4, Apple TV or DVD player and an analogue TV or capture device using the RCA outputs. The HDMI loop-out frees the original digital signal for a modern monitor or recorder while the composite feed serves the legacy screen. No drivers or software configuration are required for operation.

Questions about this item

What HDMI source resolution must my console or player output for the YINGHUA converter to accept it?

The unit accepts a single HDMI input at 1080P/60Hz, so the source must be set to 1080P at 60 frames per second.

Will the HDMI pass-through port still deliver 1080P/60Hz to my modern display while the RCA outputs feed an older TV?

Yes, the HDMI output mirrors the 1080P/60Hz input unchanged while the CVBS RCA port simultaneously provides 480i or 576i composite video.

How can I confirm the scaler is actively converting the signal after I connect everything?

Press the zoom button on the aluminium-alloy enclosure; the picture on the composite screen will change size, proving the hardware conversion is live.
