Converts Mini HDMI sources to VGA displays at 1080P with a 3.5 mm audio jack
This compact adapter converts a Mini HDMI output to a VGA input, supporting 1080P Full HD video. It includes a 3.5 mm audio jack for separate sound output. The unit is designed for use with devices such as PS3, Xbox, set-top boxes, PCs, laptops, HDTVs, projectors and DVD players. A Micro USB cable is supplied for power.
The converter requires a free Mini HDMI port on the source device and a VGA cable to reach the display. It draws power from the included Micro USB cable, so a USB port or charger must be available. It does not support digital audio over HDMI or resolutions above 1080P, so users needing 4K output or HDMI passthrough should consider a different solution.

The box includes a Micro USB cable so the adapter can draw power from a spare USB port on the source device or a charger.
The audio path is passive and the converter has no fan, so it runs silently and generates negligible heat.
