  • Frequency response covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz for full-range sound

Product Purpose

The YINGHUA extender transmits two-way RCA audio over a single SC fiber cable up to 20km. It targets installers who need broadcast-grade digital audio links for TV systems, conferencing, education or public broadcasting without electromagnetic interference. The unit ships with a UK plug and uses 24bit/96KHz sampling for high-fidelity reproduction.

Sustained Performance

Digital optical transmission maintains consistent signal integrity across the full 20km distance without degradation. The 24bit/96KHz sampling rate and 20Hz-20KHz frequency response remain stable during continuous operation. Optical dynamic technology requires no manual adjustment, ensuring reliable performance in harsh electromagnetic environments where copper cables would fail.

Thermals and Power

The transceiver operates without active cooling, relying on passive heat dissipation for silent operation. Optical fiber eliminates ground-loop currents and radio-frequency interference, reducing electrical noise in connected audio equipment. The UK plug power supply delivers stable voltage for uninterrupted transmission in professional installations.

Questions about this item

Does the unit generate noticeable heat or fan noise when it runs continuously for a full day?

The extender has no fan and uses passive optical transmission, so it stays silent and produces negligible heat during 24/7 operation.

What cables and connectors must I already have to link this extender to my audio gear?

You need two RCA cables for the unbalanced audio inputs and outputs, plus a single SC-terminated fibre patch cord up to 20 km long.

Will the 24-bit 96 kHz optical link work transparently with my older analogue hi-fi amplifier and legacy TV box?

Yes — the extender converts analogue RCA signals to digital optical and back at 24-bit 96 kHz, preserving full 20 Hz–20 kHz bandwidth for any legacy source or amplifier.
