Extends USB 2.0 signals up to 50 metres over Cat5e/6 cable while adding four hub ports for webcams, printers, keyboards and mice
This USB 2.0 extender transmits signals up to 50 m over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable and provides four USB 2.0 ports for peripherals. It is intended for users who need to place webcams, printers, keyboards or mice far from the host computer. The system works with Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Android and Unix without installing any driver.
The extender maintains USB 2.0 signalling at up to 480 Mbps across the full 50 m link, so data rates do not collapse after the first few metres. All four ports share the single upstream connection, so total bandwidth is divided among active devices during continuous transfers.
The transmitter and receiver units are housed in metal, giving them a rigid feel that resists knocks on a desk or in a rack. A standard RJ45 patch cord carries the signal, so the link can be routed through existing cable trays or wall plates. The transmitter requires a 5 V 1 A power supply, which must be connected for the link to operate. Buyers who need longer runs than 50 m or USB 3.0 speeds cannot be served by this device.

The unit is passively cooled with a metal enclosure and draws 5 V / 1 A from its AU-plug supply, so it runs silently and produces only mild warmth during all-day use.
You need a Cat5e/6/7 patch cable up to 50 m (165 ft) between transmitter and receiver, a standard USB 2.0 cable to your PC, and the included 5 V / 1 A AU-plug adapter for the transmitter.
Yes — the hub presents four USB 2.0 ports that are backward compatible with USB 1.1 devices, so legacy keyboards, mice and other low-speed peripherals enumerate normally.
