Purpose-built server board

The YINGHUA X79G is a new LGA 2011 motherboard built around the X79 chipset. It provides four DDR3 memory slots supporting up to 16 GB modules each and includes an M.2 NVME slot alongside SATA 3.0 and SATA 2.0 connectors.

Fit and limits

This board suits builders who need a compact 19 x 23.5 cm platform for a single PCI-E X16 card and ECC or non-ECC DDR3 memory. It is not for buyers who require multiple graphics cards, more than four memory channels, or integrated graphics output.

Deciding spec

The single PCI-E X16 expansion slot determines whether this board fits a build that needs only one add-in card or one that demands multi-GPU or additional controller cards.
