Dual-socket X99 board with two E5-2609 v3 CPUs, eight DDR4 slots up to 256 GB, eight SATA 2.0 and two M.2 NVME ports, three PCIe x16 slots, dual 100 Mbps LAN, 12-phase power on 8-layer E-ATX PCB
The YINGHUA X99 board is a dual-socket E-ATX platform that arrives populated with two E5 2609 V3 processors. It targets administrators building multi-threaded servers or workstations who want a ready-to-run foundation without sourcing CPUs separately. The 8-layer PCB and 12-phase power delivery are engineered for sustained loads in rack or tower deployments.
This motherboard serves users who need many simultaneous threads for virtual machines, render farms or batch processing. Builders who rely on high single-core frequency, modern instruction sets, or consumer-grade overclocking features should look elsewhere. The dual 100Mbps network ports also limit throughput for storage-heavy clusters.
The board provides eight DDR4 slots in a four-channel layout accepting 2133, 2400 or 2800 MHz modules up to 256 GB total. ECC and non-ECC desktop memory are both compatible. This capacity ceiling is the decisive factor when sizing databases, hypervisors or large-scale compute jobs.

The board follows the E-ATX form factor at 33 by 31 centimetres, so it needs a case that explicitly supports E-ATX and provides the corresponding standoff pattern.
Seat the CPUs and memory first, then attach the 24-pin connector followed by both 8-pin EPS cables before pressing the power button; skipping either 8-pin plug will prevent POST.
Check the VRM heatsinks and capacitor tops every six to twelve months with compressed air; the 12-phase design runs cooler when airflow is unobstructed.
