Splitter cable for stereo audio

This two-pack provides a male-to-female RCA Y-splitter for sharing a single audio source across two inputs. Each cable measures six inches and features one male connector feeding two female ports. The design suits subwoofers, amplifiers, speakers and home-theatre equipment that use standard RCA jacks. Plug-and-play operation requires no drivers or configuration.

Dual female ports from one male

The Y-splitter creates two female RCA connections from a single male output, allowing simultaneous connection to a pair of devices. High-purity copper conductors and a thick PVC sheath aim to reduce signal loss and electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion for long-term conductivity. The short 0.2 m length keeps the signal path compact for desktop or rack installations.

1 male to 2 female RCA topology

The defining specification is the one-male-to-two-female connector arrangement, which determines whether the cable matches the required signal-routing task. Buyers needing a straight-through extension or a male-to-male link will find this topology unsuitable. The three-connector layout is fixed and cannot be reconfigured for other channel counts.

Questions about this item

Will the 6-inch length let me keep my existing amplifier and subwoofer in their current positions?

The cable measures 6 inches end to end, so it only bridges a very short gap; if your components sit farther apart you will need a longer interconnect.

How can I confirm the splitter is passing a clean stereo signal to both outputs?

Play a known test tone and verify sound comes from both connected channels without hum or drop-outs; the gold-plated connectors and copper core are designed for low-loss transmission.

Does the 2-pack include any extra adapters or mounting hardware?

The package contains only the two 1-male-to-2-female RCA Y-splitters; no additional cables, couplers or brackets are supplied.
