Z-Finder 1.8x Mounting Kit for C300 C500

The Zacuto Z-Finder 1.8x kit provides 1.8 times magnification for the LCD screens on Canon C300 and C500 cinema cameras. It includes a mounting bracket and a set of anti-fog diopters ranging from +0 to +3 for vision correction. The kit secures to the camera body with a monitor lock clip for stable operation.

Sustained-use stability and fog resistance

The monitor lock clip maintains alignment during extended handheld or rigged shooting sessions without shifting. Anti-fog coatings on each diopter resist condensation buildup during long takes or temperature changes. The fixed 1.8x magnification delivers a consistent viewing experience without the need for repeated adjustment.

Questions about this item

Does the Zacuto Z-Finder 1.8x generate any noise, heat or extra power draw when used all day on set?

The Z-Finder is a passive optical attachment with no electronics, so it produces no noise, no heat and draws no power from the camera during extended use.

What must I already own for the Zacuto Z-Finder 1.8x mounting kit to work with my camera?

You need a Canon C300 or C500 cinema camera with its original LCD screen; the kit’s monitor lock clip attaches directly to that screen for a secure fit.
