Waterproof PoE Splitter for Dual IP Cameras

The Zebra TE-3365 is a waterproof Power over Ethernet combiner and splitter adapter set. It consists of a sender unit and a receiver unit that allow two IP cameras to share a single network cable run back to a standard PoE switch. The receiver unit features weatherproof RJ45 connectors for outdoor exposure.

Ideal for Expanding Outdoor Camera Installations

This adapter suits installers adding a second camera near an existing one without pulling new cable from the switch. It reduces cabling cost and labour for corner-mounted pairs or retrofit projects. It is not for non-PoE networks, single-camera runs requiring full bandwidth per port, or installations where the switch lacks two spare PoE ports.

Combines Two PoE Ports Into One Cable Run

The single specification that decides fit is the requirement for a standard PoE switch with two available ports to power the sender unit. The set merges two PoE streams onto one 20-metre cable to the waterproof receiver, which then splits power and data back to two cameras.

Questions about this item

What maintenance will the weatherproof RJ45 connectors on the receiver unit need over time?

The connectors are sealed for outdoor exposure; periodic visual inspection of the seals and cable glands is the only upkeep required.

What limit appears first when two PoE cameras run continuously through the single cable?

The combined power draw of both cameras must stay within the switch port PoE budget, which is the first practical limit.

How much heat does the splitter generate when both cameras operate all day?

The passive adapter has no active components, so it adds negligible heat beyond the normal cable warmth.
