Biometric fingerprint access control

The ZKTECO F19 is a standalone fingerprint reader built for office access control and time attendance. It uses an optical sensor with the ZKFinger V10.0 algorithm to verify a user in one second. The 2.4-inch TFT colour screen shows the fingerprint image to guide placement and improve recognition rates. It suits small to medium businesses needing a self-contained door controller.

TCP/IP and RS232 connectivity plus optional card

The unit ships with ZKAccess 3.5 software for PC management and offers both Ethernet and serial ports for network integration. An optional integrated RF module reads EM cards as standard and MF cards as an option, allowing fingerprint, card, PIN or combined authentication. Wiegand output lets the F19 connect to third-party panels, while built-in interfaces drive an electric lock, door sensor, exit button and alarm. Tamper detection and dismantlement alarms add physical security.

Stores 3,000 fingerprints and 100,000 event logs

The internal database holds up to 3,000 fingerprint templates and 10,000 card records, with a transaction log of 100,000 entries. This capacity covers typical office workforces and several months of audit trail before offload. Sites with larger employee counts or multiple doors requiring centralised management will exceed the onboard storage and need a server-based solution.
