The ZKTECO F19 is a biometric fingerprint reader designed for access control and time attendance applications. It uses an advanced algorithm for reliable and fast matching speed. The device operates as a standalone unit or connects to third-party panels that support standard Wiegand signal. A 2.4-inch TFT LCD colour screen displays fingerprint images to guide finger placement and improve recognition rates.

Network connectivity and authentication methods

The terminal communicates via TCP/IP and RS232 interfaces for integration into existing networks. It stores up to 3000 fingerprint templates, 10000 card records and 100000 transaction logs. Authentication supports fingerprint only, card only, PIN only or combined modes such as PIN and fingerprint. An optional integrated smart card reader reads EM or MF cards.

Access control interfaces and build features

Built-in access control interfaces include connections for electric lock, door sensor, alarm and exit button. The unit features a tamper-proof switch with alarm outputs for dismantlement, threat, illegal unlock and door ajar events. Audio-visual indications confirm acceptance or rejection of fingers. Industrial components and a watchdog monitor maintain stable operation, while a unique reset key aids recovery. The system runs on ZKAccess3.5 software.
