ZKTECO iClock880 Attendance Terminal

The ZKTECO iClock880 is a new fingerprint attendance terminal built on the ZEM800 platform with Finger v10.0 algorithm. It supports multi-factor authentication using fingerprint, password and proximity or smart cards. The unit includes a 3.5 colour TFT-LCD display and an internal camera for photo-ID verification. Standard communication interfaces include TCP/IP, RS232/485, USB-host and USB-client with optional Wi-Fi and GPRS connectivity.

Suitable for offices needing access control

This terminal suits organisations that require integrated time attendance and door access control with multi-factor authentication options. The 50 time zones and user grouping features support structured access management for shift-based workforces. Buyers who need a higher fingerprint template capacity than 50000 or who require biometric modalities not listed here should consider alternative devices.

Integrates with locks and alarms

The device provides Wiegand-in, Wiegand-out, door lock, alarm, bell and remote exit switch connections for direct access control wiring. A built-in backup battery protects stored data during power interruptions. The USB-host port allows offline data transfer via flash drive while the TCP/IP and RS232/485 links enable network integration with management software. Eight function keys and T9 input support standalone operation.

Questions about this item

Do I need a separate door lock, exit switch, alarm and bell to use the iClock880's access-control features?

Yes — the terminal provides Wiegand-in, Wiegand-out, door-lock, alarm, bell and remote-exit-switch connections, so those physical devices must be supplied and wired separately.

Can the iClock880 share fingerprint templates with older ZKTeco readers that use the same algorithm version?

The iClock880 runs Finger v10.0 on the ZEM800 platform; the manufacturer states existing customers can use it alongside current readers without re-enrolling users.

How can I verify the iClock880 is identifying users within the claimed 1.5-second window after setup?

Enroll a test fingerprint, then trigger a 1:N identification at the terminal; the on-screen response time and the transaction log timestamp will show whether the match completes in roughly 1.5 seconds.
