ZKTECO KR102E/M Card Reader

The ZKTECO KR102E and KR102M are access-control card readers designed for office and commercial entry systems. They read EM4100 ID cards or S50-compatible IC cards at 125 kHz or 13.56 MHz frequencies. The units output Wiegand 26-bit or 34-bit data with a maximum transmission distance of 100 metres. A built-in keyboard allows PIN entry alongside card authentication.

Check Power and Wiring Before Installing

Verify that your controller accepts Wiegand 26-bit or 34-bit signals and supplies 9 V to 16 V DC. The reader draws 35 mA static and 45 mA peak current, with a 70 mA maximum rating. Confirm the output port setting: the KR102E defaults to 26-bit while the KR102M defaults to 34-bit. Ensure cable runs do not exceed the 100-metre Wiegand limit and that the mounting surface accommodates the 86 mm by 86 mm footprint.
