Time Attendance & Access Control

The ZKTeco MultiBio 800 combines face and fingerprint verification for time attendance and access control. It uses the ZKFACE 7.0 algorithm for high-speed recognition with a low error rate. The terminal prevents duplicated face registration and operates in varied lighting conditions using an infrared optical system and colour duo camera. It suits offices and sites needing biometric identity management.

Buyers needing multi-factor entry

This unit suits organisations that require face, fingerprint, ID, password or optional RFID card verification in flexible combinations. It supports anti-passback, door sensor, exit button, alarm and doorbell interfaces for full access control. Buyers who need a larger face capacity than 400 users or a fingerprint store above 1000 templates should look at other models. Sites without 12 V DC power infrastructure cannot use this terminal.

Included software & connectivity

The package provides ZKAccess software and a Standalone SDK for integration. Communication options include TCP/IP, RS485 and USB-host for data transfer across network segments. An auxiliary input allows linkage to wired detectors or emergency switches such as fire alarms. Standard functions cover DST, scheduled bell, automatic status switch and photo ID to simplify daily operation.

Questions about this item

What power supply must already be available on site for the ZKTeco MultiBio 800 to operate?

The terminal requires a 12V DC, 3A power supply to function.

Can the RS485 port on this terminal connect to legacy access-control panels that only speak RS485?

Yes, the built-in RS485 interface allows direct wiring to older RS485-based controllers or readers.

How can I confirm the face-recognition algorithm is running at the specified speed after installation?

Enroll a test user, then verify at the 2.8-inch display; successful matches should complete within the ZKFace VX7.0 engine’s rated response time.
